TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - High school football kicked off for teams in the state of Florida, and even though it was just preseason action, there was a lot of excitement for Leon High, as the Lions kicked off their 100th season of high school football.
Leon would get on the board first, as Jack Driggers sent a kick through the uprights, giving the Lions the 3-0 lead. Wakulla would control the pace from there on out, as Antonio Morris got the scoring started for the War Eagles, punching in a one yard touchdown.
Wakulla would add two more scores in the second quarter, and headed into halftime with the 20-3 lead. The War Eagles would seal up the win in the second half, winning 34-3.
