TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - High school volleyball District Tournaments continued Wednesday night, as Class 5A District 2 hit the court for the first time. Suwannee defeated Godby in the first Semifinal of the night, while Wakulla faced Rickards in the nightcap.
The War Eagles of Wakulla took the early lead in the first set, and didn't look back to beat Rickards in straight sets. With the win, Wakulla seals up a spot in the Regional tournament, but will play for the District Championship first against Suwannee.
The 5A-2 title game is set for Thursday night at Rickards at 7:00.
