VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Valdosta State football team is set to open its 2015 Spring Practice as the Blazers will take to the field for the first time on Friday, February 27.
VSU will hold four straight days of practices as the Blazers will work out in just helmets on Friday and Saturday before adding shells on Sunday and full pads on Monday. Following an off day on Tuesday, Valdosta State will hold another full pads practice on Wednesday before going back to shells on Friday. The Blazers will hold their first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday, March 7.
The Blazers will return to full pads on Monday, March 9 as well as on Wednesday, March 11 before practicing in shells on Friday, March 13 and holding their second scrimmage on March 14. VSU returns to shells on Monday, March 16 and helmets on March 18 before holding its Spring Game on Thursday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m.
