TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A two-time All-ACC member for her talents on the field, Victoria East received an accolade for her efforts off the field as the National Strength and Conditioning Association named her a 2014 NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year. East joins Carly Wynn (2010) as Seminoles who have won the award.
The All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year Award program recognizes those collegiate and high school athletes, whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning.
There are several drills and exercises used in submitting a student-athlete for this award, including a 10-yard and 20-yard dash, Pro-Agility drill, vertical jump, power clean and back squat, among others.
