THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - At Brookwood in Thomasville on Thursday, two Warrior athletes signed Letters of Intent to continue playing their sprot at the next level. Girls hoop star Jordan Thompson, decided to stay local, as she will move right up the road to become a Night Hawk at Thomas University. Football stand-out Kurtis Brown will suit up for University of the Cumberlands next year.

Both say they worked hard to get to this day, and couldn't be more excited about the future.

"It's been so exciting," smiled Thompson. "I've been waiting for this day and just all the hard work and coaching me. It's been so much fun to make it official and go to college and play the sport that I love so much."

"It's means a lot. I worked really hard to get here," added Brown. "Coach Boggs helped me and giving visits and going to camps. University of the Cumberlands felt like home when I got there as soon as I stepped on campus."
