TU Men's & Women's Soccer received National Recognition this afternoon in the NAIA Top 25 Poll with Men's Soccer being ranked at #25 and women's soccer receiving votes. The accomplishment marks the first time since 2004 that both programs received national recognition during the same week.

Men's soccer received votes in the pre season poll but did not receive any in the first poll of year, which was released last week. The Night Hawks are 4-3 and have gone 2-2 against teams in the top 25, knocking off then #21 Southern Wesleyan University last Friday and then #5 Auburn University - Montgomery. In 2012, men's soccer spent seven weeks in the top 25, peaking at #14.

Women's soccer received four votes in the poll after knocking off then #23 Brenau University this past Sunday, their second win against a nationally ranked opponent this season. Earlier this season the Lady Night Hawks toppled then #7 University of Mobile. The four votes for women's soccer is their first mention in the poll since 2004 when they finished the season ranked in the top 25.
