Heraklion, Greece (WTXL) - Thomasville was represented on a global stage over the weekend, when former Thomasville High School basketball standout Reggie Perry helped lead the U19 United States basketball team to the FIBA World Cup title. Perry, who just finished his freshman season at Mississippi State, was named tournament MVP.

The title was the United States 7th overall. They went undefeated in winning this one.
