On Saturday night, the Thomasville Bulldogs took down Rome and captured the Thomasville Holiday Hoopfest Championship.
The Bulldogs, led by senior Vonterius Woolbright jumped out to an early 14-3 lead and kept control throughout the first half. The Wolves would rally and keep it close but Thomasville would hold on 73-68 in the end.
With the win, the Bulldogs move to 8-0 on the year.
