THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - In South Georgia, the Bulldogs of Thomasville High School are rolling through the season. The team is 7-0 on the year, their first 7-0 start since 1988, the last time the Bulldogs won a State Championship.
Head coach Zach Grage is quick to point out that there is a lot of season left to play. No one will remember the undefeated run if they drop their final couple of games.
There's a lot of excitement brewing in Bulldog country, but pressure? Coach says actually, he hopes so.
"We try to get to let's have fun, let's enjoy it, but you still have some expectations to live up to and we can't just sit here and rest on our laurels," he said Thursday. "I hope they do feel pressure, but I always tell them every day, enjoy the process. If this is a special season like we expect it to be, I want you to remember this for the rest of your lives."
Thomasville looks to continue their undefeated run Friday when they host Chiles out of Tallahassee. Kickoff is set for 8:00.
