TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Baseball season is right around the corner, and for the 11th year, what better way to get it going than kicking it off with your dad.
Florida A&M assistant coach Bryan Henry and World Series Champ David Ross team up once again for the camp. Former and current Seminoles will be on hand to lend a hand, as this weekend is special for so many.
"The whole object of it is to get the dad and the kids out there together," said Henry. "More for the dad to get the teaching side of it so he can work with his son at the house or go to a field and do everything they've learned, and for the kids to see these major league baseball players, these FSU and FAMU players out there that they look up too. It's just a fun day of baseball."
There are still spots open for this year's camp, which is Saturday January 12th at 9:30 at Chiles High School. To register, please email bryhen22@yahoo.com. Walk up registration on Saturday is also welcomed.
