TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Community College baseball's Quincy Nieporte has signed a letter of intent to join Florida State for the 2015 season.
Nieporte leaves the Eagles after his freshman season where he appeared in 57 games while leading the team with a .374 batting average. He also knocked in 61 RBIs, best in the state of Florida, and smacked six home runs.
The Panhandle Conference named Nieporte to their first team and the FCSAA named him to their second team for 2014.
The Atlanta, Ga. native will join another former Tallahassee CC baseball player on the Seminoles' roster in outfielder Nick Graganella.
Nieporte is playing summer baseball in the Coastal Plain League with the Morehead City Marlins.
