TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Tallahassee Community College’s Elmo Stephen was named NJCAA Region 8 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Stephen led the Eagles to a pair of victories at last weekend’s Applebee’s Okefenokee Classic, hosted by South Georgia State College.
In two games, Stephen averaged 29.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor.
Stephen and the Eagles, currently 7-0, travel to Hillsborough Community College for a 7 p.m. game on Friday.
