TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Monday, the Tallahassee Community College men's basketball team learned they'd taken over the top spot in the latest state coaches poll. The Eagles are 8-0, but that mark, and the number one ranking, has made the target on their back even bigger.
"I would say right now the biggest thing we've got to improve is we're fouling too much," said head coach Mark White. The second year head coach notes that with mainly Florida schools left on their schedule, they'll get the best from everyone here on out.
"We have to quit fouling and putting opponents on the free throw line," he added. "That's really been an area we've really emphasized. We can't continue to put people at the free throw line because it gets us in foul trouble."
Tallahassee returns to action Tuesday when they host Hillsborough.
