TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A pair of walk-ons with Tallahassee Community College baseball have signed national letters of intent to play in the Southeastern Conference.
Pitcher Logan Elliot will join the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Elliot made first-team All-Panhandle Conference with a 7-1 record and 2.19 ERA for the Eagles in 2014.
Fellow pitcher Collin Strall goes to the Louisiana State Tigers. Strall was second-team All-Panhandle last year with a 7-2 record and 2.54 ERA.
Both Elliot and Strall pitch with a sidearm delivery and will have three years of collegiate eligibility remaining at MSU and LSU.
"This is a great opportunity for both guys and I couldn't be happier for them," said Tallahassee head coach Mike McLeod. "It's a feather in our cap when programs such as LSU and Mississippi State recruit our players, and I can't wait to see them perform in the SEC."
