PERRY, Fl. (WTXL) - It was a special day in Perry Friday, as former Taylor County Bulldog LeGarrette Blount was back in town for a big weekend to honor him.
The three time Super Bowl Champion's #32 jersey was retired, and on Saturday, a parade to recognize his accomplishments will cruise the streets.
It's an exciting weekend, and one that the now Detroit Lion is thankful for.
"It's an amazing feeling man," smiled Blount. "It's really warming feeling that they care so much about me here to be able to obviously, we don't promote this, let the kids out of school early so they can be a part of something like this."
Saturday's parade will start at 10 am.
