TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Community College women's basketball team took the floor Thursday night in day one of their three day Capital Courtyard Classic.
The Eagles faced Hillsborough in their opening match-up, and despite a close first half, TCC pulled away in the second half to get the 70-57 win.
Sabrina Banks led the Eagles with 17 points and 13 rebounds. The win snapped a three game skid for Tallahassee, and improved them to 4-3 on the season.
Day two of the Capital Courtyard Classic tips off at 1 p.m. Friday and features four games, concluding with Tallahassee and Atlanta Metro State College squaring off at 7:30 p.m.
