MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) - Two Tallahassee-Leon Babe Ruth baseball teams punched their tickets to the World Series this summer, and both opened World Series play with wins on Thursday.
The 15's beat the local Washington team 12-2, lead in part by a first inning grand slam by Argene Lynn.
The 14's, who are playing in Texas, handled Texas 14-8. Noah Gelabert was the winning pitcher.
