TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Community College women's basketball team fell to Northwest Florida State on Saturday in their final game of the regular season. Now, for the second straight year, they Eagles find themselves in a playoff situation for a berth to the State Tournament.
That match-up hits the court on Tuesday against Northwest Florida State, who the Eagles share third place in the Panhandle Conference with. TCC is 1-2 against Northwest this season, and of their most recent loss, head coach Q Bedell said he thought his team played well, but didn't play a complete game.
"By us watching and breaking down film and trying to fix some things, I think they're excited about it because they have life," he said on Monday after practice. "I think they're anxious to get back out and try to prove and fix some things they had an opportunity to do at the first hand. Now we have to go back and take a ball game."
The playoff game tips off at 7:30.
