PANAMA CITY, Fl. (WTXL) - Last week, both the Tallahassee Community College men and women's basketball teams fell to Northwest Florida State before picking up wins at Pensacola State over the weekend.
On Wednesday, the two returned to action on the road at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City. The trip was a successful one, as both teams walked away with wins. The women beat the Lady Commodores 79-76, improving to 2-3 in Panhandle play.
Juliunn Redmond scored 25 for the Lady Eagles, while Daisha Bradford drained six three pointers and finished with 20 points on the night. It was just the third time TCC has beaten Gulf Coast at Gulf Coast. Entering tonight's game, they were 2-31 in Panama City.
The Tallahassee men also picked up a big win. The beat Gulf Coast 90-71, and fun stat - it's the first time since 2001 the Eagle men picked up back to back wins in Conference play with both coming on the road.
