TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The top ranked Tallahassee Community College Eagle baseball team hosted Grand Rapids Community College on Monday in an afternoon doubleheader.
The Eagles scored early in often in game one, taking the six nothing lead after two innings of play. TCC added seven more runs in the third inning en route to the 13-0 win.
In game two, Junior Gorordo was a pitch away from a no-hitter, but instead, finished with eight strikeouts in 8.2 innings of work in the 7-2 win.
The Eagles are now 24-6 on the year, with two games left before Conference play begins on Saturday.
