TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Tuesday night, the Tallahassee Community College men and women's basketball teams hosted Northwest Florida State in two big Panhandle Conference match-ups.
The ladies hit the floor, and the two teams, tied for third in the conference standings. The Eagle women, held on to a late lead to seal up the 69-63 win, and take over sole possession of third place in the standings.
The Eagle men entered Tuesday's contest second in the Panhandle behind Northwest Florida, and a win, would give TCC a share of the conference lead. The visiting Raiders led at halftime, but Tallahassee pulled through in the second half, winning 90-85.
The two return to action on Saturday when they host Pensacola State. The women tip-off at 5:30, with the men's game following.
