TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - At Tallahassee Community College, the Eagle men are fresh off a State Runner-up finish, and head coach Mark White said falling short has no doubt motivated them this off season.
The team made their debut over the weekend when they hosted the Southeastern Jamboree, where they went 1-2. Despite the mark, White said he was pleased with their performance, noting every guy got a chance to play, and this week, he will start to coach them.
"I really, really think we have five outstanding freshman that's going to be a big part of our success this year," he said Monday, noting despite returning just two players from last year, he expects a lot out of his newcomers. "I'm really pleased with their progress so far."
The Eagles kick off the regular season November 1st.
