TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - When you talk about basketball teams that are hot, you have to count the Tallahassee Community College women. The Lady Eagles are winners of four straight games, and all four were games they needed to win to seal up a spot in the State Tournament.
Up next for TCC? Daytona State in the first round of the Region VIII Tournament on Thursday, and to have the chance to continue playing? They are right where they need to be.
"We've been surviving and advancing the last four games and so I think our girls don't feel the pressure, they just feel it's another opportunity, another game," said head coach Q Bedell. "We have to go to work and get the job done. I'm pretty proud of them in that regard. They found a way to survive."
State Tournament play kicks off Thursday night at 8:00 for Tallahassee.
