TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Community College baseball team cracked the Top 25 in a National Poll on Tuesday. On Wednesday night, the Eagles welcomed in Pensacola State to close out their first Conference series of the year.
The series was locked at one game apiece heading in to Wednesday's rubber match. Tallahassee scored early and often, winning the game, and the series 15-6.
The Eagle softball team was also in action on Wednesday night, hosting Northwest Florida State for their first Panhandle Conference game of the year. The visiting Raiders took game one 9-0, but game two was scoreless until the bottom of the sixth, when TCC scored three runs.
The Raiders rallied to score nine runs in the top of the seventh, and held on to win 9-4.
