CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Rain in the Chattanooga area has caused a cancelation of Sunday's play in the Taziki's Gulf South Conference Baseball Tournament.
With more than three inches of rain having fallen on Saturday and more rain scheduled for Sunday, the conference office has once again been forced to postpone play in the tournament.
With rain forecast at 90 percent for Sunday and 60 percent for Monday, no course of action has been planned as of yet for the continuation of the tournament.
Six teams remain in the tournament field, with Valdosta State and West Alabama being the only two remaining undefeated squads. When play does resume, those two teams will face off while West Florida and Delta State will play one elimination game with North Alabama and West Georgia in a second elimination contest.
