TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Tuesday was a happy signing day for St. John Paul II's Chosen Levatiyy, as the forward signed with Ave Maria, a NAIA University in South Florida. Levarity helped lead the Panthers to a State title this year, and he's looking to keep that success going at the next level.
"I never thought it would be possible until I lived the moment and today made it official," he said. "It's just so much excitement running through my body. It's the next step. It's college now, I'm ready to move on and take my adventures to a new level. It feels like family there and it reminds my of JP2. It's a Catholic school and it's a small school. It's going to feel close and it's going to feel like home."
Levarity said he wants to study business, and have mechanical engineering as a minor.
