VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - In Valdosta, we all know the one game that's circled on both Lowndes and Valdosta High's calendar - it's the Winnersville Classic.
It kicks off the regular season, but on Friday, call it the "Pre-Classic" as Valdosta hosted Lowndes at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.
Defense reigned Friday, as Lowndes won a low scoring affair 10-3. The two kick off the regular season August 18th at Martin Stadium.
