SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (WTXL) - On Saturday, three Big Bend high school volleyball teams hit the court for State Semifinal showdowns, with winners, advancing to next week's State Finals in Ocala.

The Sneads Pirates have won the last three straight Class 1A State Championships, and are still in contention for a fourth straight, as they handled South Walton in straight sets on Saturday.

In Class 4A, Maclay reached the Final Four for the first time since 2011, but couldn't push any further, as the Marauders fell 3-1 to The First Academy.

The Leon Lions faced Plant for the second straight year in the Final Four, and for the second straight year, Leon dropped a five set heart breaker. Leon jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 8A Semifinal, but dropped the next three sets to fall at Plant.
