EUGENE, Ore. (WTXL) - A trio of All-American finishes Saturday powered Florida State's women's track and field squad to a 16th place finish at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Linden Hall placed third in the 1500 meter run, continuing a streak of nine years in a row the Noles have had an All-American performer in the women's 1500.
Anne Zagre placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles, earning her FSU's first All-American honor in that event since Kim Batten in 1991.
The quartet of Marecia Pemberton, Der'Renae Freeman, Jande Pierce, and Kali Davis-White placed seventh in the 4x100 relay.Those three results combined with Kellion Knibb's fifth-place finish in the discus from Thursday gave the Seminoles 15 points in the Championships, earning 16th-place, the best final result since the squad finished fourth in 2009.
