TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - ACC competition is upon us when it comes to the football field, and for the Florida State Seminoles, it's also a test, as it's the first time this season the Noles leave the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium.

The match-up with Boston College is also a little odd because instead of suiting up on a Saturday, the Noles will play under Friday night lights. Everything, moved up a day because of the game time, and the Seminoles had a typical Wednesday practice on Tuesday night.

Head Coach Jimbo Fisher pleased with the Seminoles progress before their first Conference game. He added a game in a different stadium will probably be a little different for the younger guys, but football is football, whether you're at the Doak or on the road.

"It used to be a big deal communication wise because that's the way everyone does everything now, no huddle team," he said after practice Tuesday night. "You kind of talk in sign language in what you do, check wristbands; it's changed. You have to understand that the atmosphere of the crowd and those things will be tough, but that's part of growing up."

Florida State's contest with the Eagles kicks off at 8:00 Friday night.
