Tallahassee, FL (WTXL)--The Rickards Football team is ready to make another postseason run after losing to Wakulla in the regional semifinals last season.

Wakulla went on to play in the state title game.

Rickards head coach Quentin Lewis says Rickards lost a running back, a few receivers, an offensive lineman, and a few linebackers. However, he is counting on 20 seniors to lead the way and the athleticism of his younger players.

"I mean we just have to come out and execute perfectly offensively we want to correct things we were flawed in like 3rd down percentages, red zone, and we want to simply defensively so we can be more aggressive." Coach Lewis said. "That's what we are trying to do now," Lewis added.

Lewis also mentioned his team is focused on finishing games and finishing plays.

"Their whole thing is about finishing each and every drive and each and every play which will lead them to winning games down the road." Lewis said. "Their motto is that they need to finish everything they start."
