Posted

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Chiles Timberwolves have had a weird week, playing last Thursday night, which resulted in a loss to Leon. The loss forced a three way play-on Monday for the District title, and then Thursday, three days later, Chiles took the field again for the third time, this time, facing Rickards.

The Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead thanks to a Shane Sanders touchdown run, but Rickards quickly fought back, taking a 12-7 lead in the second quarter.

The Raiders put up 26 points in the second quarter en route to a 32-24 win over Chiles to cap off the season 4-0 against their city rivals. Marcus Riley threw for 198 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 73 yards and scoring three times on the ground.

The Raiders travel to West Florida in the 5A Regional Quarterfinals next Friday, kick-off is slated for 7:30/CT.
