Regional Semifinals, Finals Hit The Court Tuesday Across The Big Bend

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The road to State is paved and waiting for girls high school basketball teams in the state of Florida. Depending on their classification, teams across the Big Bend hit the court for Sweet Sixteen or Elite Eight match-ups.

In Class 5A, the Florida High Seminoles survived a late surge from East Gadsden to win 49-47, punching their ticket to the Region One Championship game Friday night.

Also punching their ticket to the Region Finals? The Rickards High Lady Raiders, who handled Mosley Tuesday in Class 6A, winning 56-51. Lincoln is also headed to the Regional Finals, as they beat Niceville 65-42.

In Class 3A, the FAMU DRS Baby Lady Rattlers are headed for Lakeland once again. Erin Turral led the Baby Ladies with 35 points en route to a 71 to 34 win over Deltona's Trinity Christian.

Aucilla Christian will join them in the Final Four, as they beat Tallavana Christian 50-13 in Class 2A. Lafayette beat Williston 24-22 in Class 1A to seal up their spot in next week's Final Four as well.
