CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) - When Ray Lewis III was born, his father was a junior at Miami and became fully consumed by the idea of playing in the NFL.

And now that the boy is ready to enter college, that dad is ready to stop playing and start watching.

With his father and now two-time Super Bowl champion Ray Lewis sitting to his right, Lewis III signed his national letter of intent to play at Miami on Wednesday, part of a class the Hurricanes hope can provide immediate impact.

Ray Lewis' final game in the NFL was this past Sunday, when his Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 47.

Other big additions for Miami include wide receiver Stacy Coley, linebacker Jermaine Grace, defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad and quarterback Kevin Olsen.
