Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) --The FAMU Football team hosts Tennessee State on Saturday in the Rattlers' home opener. Coach  Alex Wood wanted to move on from the 0-3 start during this week's presser and instead focus on winning games now.  The Rattlers lost to South Carolina State last Thursday 36-0.

"It's great to have a chance to not have to get on the road and go through that ritual again and play at home in Bragg Stadium in front of our home fans, folks that regardless. of what has taken place in the first three games," Alex Wood said.

"I think there's still a sense of excitement about this team and the possibilities. There's a lot of football season left obviously, and we want to come and play our best football and make everybody proud and win a game in front of our home fans," Coach Wood added.

Kickoff for Saturday's game is scheduled for 6pm.
