Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- The Rattlers had the lead after three quarters of football against North Carolina Central, but FAMU just couldn't finish on Saturday. North Carolina Central slides past the Rattlers 27-24. Nigel Macauley hit the game winning 20 yard field goal with 15 seconds left in the game.
FAMU took the lead with a Jairockeis Jones 18 yard touchdown reception in the 3rd quarter. However, the Rattlers were shutout in the 4th quarter. NCCU tied the game at 24 with Quinn Billerman 12 yard touchdown pass to Armani Lanier with less than six minutes left in the game. After some help from a pass interference call, Nigel Macauley was clutch for 20 yards out. FAMU falls to 0-6. FAMU is home against Delaware State next Saturday.
