TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Perfect in the Al Lawson Center no more.

A 16-4 run over 5:35 in the second half led Howard (5-15, 2-3 MEAC) to a 69-62 win over Florida A&M (8-12, 3-4). The Rattlers let a nine-point halftime lead slip away to tarnish a previously perfect 5-0 home record.

FAMU was led on the night by reigning MEAC Player of the Week Jamie Adams' 19 points, but as a team, the Rattlers had trouble finding the hoop, connecting on just 36% of their field goal attempts. Howard shot much better at nearly 49%, led by a 9-16 performance from James Daniel, who scored a game-high 31 points.

Next time on the court, Florida A&M will once again be inside the Al Lawson Center, taking on South Carolina State Saturday, February 1. The Lady Rattlers will also host SC State the same day, and FAMUAthletics.com lists both start times for 4:00 p.m.
