Rattlers Earn First win 41-13

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - After an 0-6 start to the season the Rattlers earned new coach Alex Wood his first in in the program.   The Rattlers defeat Delaware State 41-13 with 22,678 fans listed as the official attendance.   It's 3 hours and 15 minutes they'll never forget. 

Carson Royal threw three touchdown passes and 229 yards.  The defense combined for four sacks and three interceptions. Akil Blount returned one interception 75 yards to give FAMU a 34-13 lead in the 4th quarter.  The Rattlers never trailed in this game a week after losing in the 4th quarter against North Carolina Central last week.   FAMU has an open date before taking on North Carolina AT&T on October 31st,  in its final game at Bragg Memorial Stadium this season.
