The Florida A&M Rattlers opened the 2017 season with a bang on Saturday afternoon defeating Texas Southern 29-7.
Quarterback Ryan Stanley threw and rushed for a touchdown and the offense racked up over 400 total yards of offense.
The defense also dominated, giving up just the seven points and 62 yards on the ground.
Bragg Memorial Stadium was electric and the Rattlers are the first college football team to earn a victory this season.
Up next for the Rattlers, a road meeting with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday night.
