Wednesday night was a big night for the Florida A&M Rattlers. Both the men and women defeated Howard for their second and third wins respectively.
The ladies took the court first and despite a sluggish first quarter, were eventually able to take control. Behind a 23 point second quarter, the Rattlers led by seven at the break and never looked back.
Florence Ouattara led the way with 16 and Ecenur Yurdakul followed with 12.
The Rattlers improve to 3-11.
The men used a 50 point second half to down the Bison.
Desmond Williams led the way with 25 points as the Rattlers improve to 1-0 in MEAC play.
Up next for both teams, a trip to Maryland for a date with Morgan State on Saturday.
