ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - The Texas Rangers have come to terms with their top three draft picks, including first-rounder Cole Ragans out of Florida.
Ragans, a left-hander from North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, was the 30th overall pick. He was 9-2 with a 0.90 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 90 innings as a senior.
With the deals Tuesday, the Rangers have come to terms with 26 of their 40 picks from last week's draft. That includes 12 of their first 14 selections.
The Rangers also introduced second-round pick Alex Speas, a right-hander from McEachern High in Powder Springs, Georgia, and third-round pick Kole Enright, a third baseman from West Orange High in Winter Gardens, Florida.
