ATLANTA, Ga. - Georgia Tech sophomore guard Solomon Poole has been dismissed from the basketball team by head coach Brian Gregory.
Gregory told reporters that Poole has been dismissed due to "conduct and accountability issues."
The Jacksonville native hasn't played in almost a month while fighting various injuries. Gregory insisted that injuries did not play a role in his decision to dismiss Poole.
Gregory also said that Robert Carter Jr could return as early as this week after surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.
