TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - North Florida Christian softball standout Alicia Price signed with Truett-McConnell Friday, a NAIA program out of Cleveland, Georgia.
Price was recruited by the Bears to play middle infield, and batted over .500 in her junior season with NFC, leading them to the Regional Finals. She said she's excited to have the opportunity to continue her softball career.
"I've always dreamed of playing a college sport since I was really little, so it's amazing to see that dream finally come true," she said. "It's kind of like a bigger NFC. When I was on campus it felt like a big family. It felt like the right place that God was calling me."
Price said she plans on studying math, as she wants to be a math teacher.
