TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The North Florida Christian Eagle football team has sent it's fair share of athletes to play college football. On Thursday, Lyndarious Straight, Jr. joined that list, as he signed with the University of Louisville.

Strange, a defensive back, finished his career as an Eagle with 202 tackles and seven picks. He'll join the Cardinals as an early enrollee, and of getting to play Division I football? It's a dream come true.

"I really dreamed about this day from day one," he said. "I worked hard and I stayed believing in my dream and it finally came true. When I first drove into Louisville, I knew it was  the best fit for me. They're in need of big defensive back's like myself and I talked to Coach (Cort) Dennison (assistant secondary coach) and Head Coach Bobby Petrino and they said that I'm the perfect fit so I made them my second family."

Strange said he wants to study business.
