FORT MYERS, Fl. (WTXL) - The North Florida Christian Eagles had a tall task in Canterbury in Thursday's Class 3A State Championship game. 

NFC scored first, taking the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning, but the Cougars fought back, putting three on the board in the third and never looked back.

The Eagles stranded 13 runners in the 6-1 loss, leaving the bases loaded three times. They committed three errors.
