TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The North Florida Christian Eagle baseball team entered Monday's contest with Forest out of Ocala fresh off an undefeated performance at a Spring Break Tournament in South Florida.
On Monday, the Wildcats jumped on top early, and never looked back. Forest led 8-0 until the bottom of the fifth inning, when Stephen Veliz scored two to make it 8-2.
That's all the Eagles could do, as Forest pulled ahead with the 11-2 win. North Florida Christian returns to action on Tuesday when they face Leon.
