TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State baseball’s 2014-15 recruiting class earned its second national ranking of the preseason checking in at No. 10 as announced by Baseball America.

Baseball America’s recruiting class rankings are based on many conversations with college coaches and pro scouts across the country during the fall, as well as countless more calls during our Draft Preview preparation this spring. The rankings do not consider transfers from four-year schools.

The Seminoles welcome 17 newcomers to this year's recruiting class including 11 freshmen, five JUCO transfers and one transfer from a four-year institution. The class is made up of seven pitchers (including two left handers), six infielders, one outfielder, one catcher and two utility players (listed on the roster at two or more positions including pitcher and catcher).

Florida State garnered its first top 25 recruiting ranking earlier this fall from Collegiate Baseball as the Seminole class was ranked No. 20.
