Tallahassee, FL (WTXL) -- With one 11 yard run in the first quarter, Dalvin Cook is now Florida State's single season rushing leader. The Noles overcome five turnovers to top NC State 34-17. Sean Maguire came in for a struggling starting quarterback Everett Golson to lead the team the comeback win. Maguire finished the game with 231 yards and two touchdowns.

"It was big. I think the whole game for the team was big especially having an emotional loss last week and having young kids being able to go out there and basically turn everything around," FSU quarterback Sean Maguire said.  "That was a big win for the offense and the defense, especially after last week (vs. Clemson),"  Maguire added.

Golson started the game, but was responsible for 3 turnovers. "If things didn't go well, that is what we were going to do, had those guys prepared, and Sean, that's not easy to do," FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said. "To walk in there and do what he did and he played an outstanding game and made the plays, and we got some rhythm on offense and then we took off," Fisher added.

Florida State shutout North Carolina State in the second half and outscored NC State 17-0. FSU takes on Chattanooga on Saturday November 21st.
