Noles hoops to host Maryland for final time in ACC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State, which defeated Clemson on Thursday night, returns home to play host to Maryland in its third ACC game of the season on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 8:00.  The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Florida State’s contest against Maryland is its second of nine ACC home games and comes in the midst of three road games in a four game stretch which began with the Seminoles’ road win at Clemson.  Florida State enters its game against Maryland having won five of its last six games with three of those wins coming at home.  The Seminoles are 5-1 at the Donald L. Tucker Center this season.

Florida State’s game against Maryland is one of two this season against the Terps (the Seminoles travel to play in College Park on February 8) who are playing their final season as members of the ACC before moving to the Big Ten beginning with the 2014-15 season.

Following Sunday’s game against Maryland, the Seminoles will travel to play at Miami (January 15, 9:00 p.m.) and at Virginia (January 18, 12 Noon) before playing host to Notre Dame (January 21, 8:00 p.m.) in the first appearance in Tallahassee by the Fighting Irish.
