TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - NCAA Tournament brackets are out, and Florida State is one of four No. 1 seeds across the country.

The Noles (18-1-1) are coming off an ACC Championship season for the second year in a row. It's the 15th season in a row FSU will play in the NCAA Tournament.

"We are excited as can be to move on to the next phase of the season," Florida State head coach Mark Krikorian said. "Our players worked extremely hard this year to get the results that we did and we were rewarded for that effort with a No. 1 seed."

Florida State will open play Friday, November 14 at 7:00 p.m. Against South Alabama, champions of the Sun Belt Conference. The Noles and Jaguars met in the first round of last year's NCAA Tournament as well, a game that resulted in a 5-0 FSU victory.

"We know that South Alabama is coming in here as a very successful program," added Krikorian. "We saw them last year in the first round. At 19-2-1, they are as well coached a team as we are going to face. They have some very good players both domestic and international kids. I expect this Friday night's match to be very competitive."
